Happy New Year to all! I hope your holidays were enjoyable, especially with the nice weather we had. It’s very unusual in New England to have salt-less roads in late December. Don took his 1961 Fury out for a jaunt on the 25th. The grass was turning green and the pear tree has buds. VERY unusual!

The Christmas Party at the Palmer’s was very nice, as usual. Lots of good food, many tasty gifts, and great company. Unfortunately, our host was sick in bed but the hostess carried on as usual and did a fantastic job. Thanks Jane for going ahead with the get-together. John and Dianne Russo intended to come, but weren’t feeling well either. Hope everyone is feeling well now.

We had a short meeting and decided to try and have a meeting in February. Bruce and Judi Nichols will host. It will be at their home in Millbury on Sunday February 21 at noon. Last year they had 3 feet of snow, but Bruce is optimistic this year.

The March meeting will be our annual business meeting at the Whitman home in Hancock on Sunday March 20 at noon. The club will have lunch at the IOKA Valley Farm (Pancakes, French toast, waffles(no eggs), real maple syrup, and maple ice cream). We will discuss the April meeting at that time.

Bruce is planning a real interesting and fun car outing for May 14th (a Saturday). It will be at the Thompson Speedway motorsports park in Thompson Conn. It will include a car show, tour, driving your car on the track, lunch in the clubhouse, and a club meeting in the media room.

How about having a meeting in your area? June, July, and August are open.
