April 2016 President Message

The Colonial Region April 2016 President Message reviews the March 2016 Meeting, upcoming anticipated events, and details of the May event:

Spring has finally arrived and the antiques are starting to make their annual appearance. Shortly after our March meeting, the roads were salted again, so the awakening here will be delayed.  Don spent the winter working on antique snowmobiles and tractors. Now he is starting to work on antique lawn mowers. (Much easier to work on than Antique cars)

Some had individual maple syrup production tours and samples:

while many watched a video of a huge machine that cuts, de-foliates and sections trees in a  one-man operation designed for commercial wood harvesting. Our meeting went well and we have planned the meetings and activities for most of the year.

NOTE: NO APRIL MEETING

May 14th ( Saturday) at the racetrack sounds busy and interesting. BRING YOUR OLD CAR.  We will park in the car show and for those who wish—-  follow the pace car around the track in your old car.

WE MUST meet at the Guest Services building at 9:30 sharp. If you are late-  you are “on-your-own”.  We must enter as a group to park together. Bruce will meet us there and has typed schedules and a map.  Meeting will be very short during lunch, and you need to let Bruce know by May 8 *******.

Hope to see a good group of antique Plymouths.

Judy
