SUMMER IS OFFICIALLY HERE. Don W. is recovering and officially got the green light to start driving. He celebrated by taking the ’61 Fury for an inspection sticker. Success!!!!!
Speaking of Don & Judy’s ’61, did anyone notice Don’s picture with it in the recent Hemmings Motor News? It was a cruise night in May and he got an award for favorite Mopar.
Don Palmer wrote an exceptional gastronomic review of the June meeting at the Crook’s in Rhode Island on the website. Natalie always outdoes herself.
14 members enjoyed Doug Crook’s re-invented museum of memorabilia. Who needs anything else at a meeting! There are loads of pictures on our web site plymouthcarclub.com and a good report on the meeting.
We have new members. Jerry and Roberta Adams are at 37 Horne Way in Millbury Mass. 508-865-5939. They have a 1953 Cranbrook 2dr HT. We welcome them to the club and hope they will join us at our meetings.
NEXT MEETING: Our next meeting is at Colt State Park in Bristol Rhode Island on Sunday July 17 at noon. Doug Crook has reserved 3 picnic tables at site #17 for us. Jim Dunlea has offered to bring his gas grill. Bring food to grill and some food item to share. In case of rain — wear a raincoat. If you use GPS, the address is Route 114, Hope Street, Bristol, RI. Hope to have good weather and lots of members.
UP COMING MEETINGS: The August meeting will be hosted by the Nichols. In September, we will go to the Cape on the weekend of the 17th and 18th, hosted by the Ruops. Bill Rogers will organize the October 16 meeting in New Bedford with a visit to the oldest fire station in the area being one of our stops.
