Pictures for the December 2016 Christmas Event start at the point when food was being consumed, continue thru the Presidents Meeting & traditional lively gift opening exercise, and end with a surprise auction where the taker of the prize was paid to take the gift!

More food appeared than the members could possibly consume in even three sittings so the refrigerator is overflowing with tasty delights. The weather was spectacular so shades had to be lowered partially due to the intense light and heat coming thru the windows on a chilly windy day. Luckily the event occurred 16 hours before snow is forecast to start. Who came up with this great timing?!!!

There was a meeting and a few decisions were made, yearly dues collected, and time made for the 50-50 which made the event productive for Region business at the same time and festive as usual. One decision made concerned the region partially funding the upcoming 19 February event. More to come in the President’s Message and Secretary Report concerning the details of the decisions reached.

The sun was setting as the last of the members left with their treasures. At least the weather and road conditions were fine for the drive home to end a perfectly great time at the yearly event.
