The Region June 2019 Tour consisted of both the Colonial & Hudson Valley Regions joining forces to tour thru the reservoirs, covered bridges, and picturesque countryside just NW of Kingston,N.Y.  The following pictures capture some of the moments along the adventure with the Hudson Valley Region providing the “tour guide” to insure important & memorable highlights of the area were captured along the way. We traveled almost 180 miles on Saturday together in our wagon train of vintage & modern iron.

Dinner Friday Night at Christine’s followed our gathering at the Hampton Inn in Kingston, N.Y. to gear up for the next day’s outing.

Saturday Morning Meeting Spot with Hudson Valley Region featured great landscaping along the beautiful roadways.

Our first stop at a Reservoir with Hudson Valley Region Leading the way.

Typically the Reservoirs visited indicate the town that use to be located there before the reservoir was established

Fine weather help make each picturesque view fabulous.

 

Tour participants with covered bridge and clear stream in the background was a common occurrence.

Covered bridge structural elements excite and add artistic beauty to the functioning bridge.

A lunch stop results in excitement for the diner owner and special treatment.

After a long day we headed to home base at the Hampton Inn in Kingston and a nearby food establishment after touring for almost 180 miles on Saturday.
