Secretary Report Sept 2019 consists of:
COLONIAL REGION PLYMOUTH CLUB MEETING: September 15, 2019
Members present: Dunleas, Ruops, Crooks, Nichols, Whitmans, Palmers. Guests: Qin’s parents.
Secretary’s Report was accepted. There was no Treasurer’s Report; Judi noted that we had one new member.
Don was contacted about selling a 1931 PA. He referred the man to the National Club tech advisor. Don noted that, from now on, he will only write tech articles for Region members; several people asking the same question. Other non-members will just get an answer to their question.
Judy asked if members are distributing the brochures at events, etc. The response was yes and it was noted that there is currently no need to reorder. We are still in need for a chairman for the elections.
The October meeting will be on the 20th at Waters Farm Fall Festival in Sutton, MA. We will meet at the registration table at 11:00. Plan to come earlier in order to get a parking spot. We will lunch at the concession stands.
On November 3 we will go to Wrights Chicken Farm. There will be car shows for other clubs. Come earlier if you would like to see the cars. Otherwise we will meet at the rear entrance to the restaurant at 11:30.
The Christmas party will be on December 8 at the Palmers.
We will be investigating places to have our February meeting so we can book early. Suggestions are welcome. Bruce has recommended that we plan an overnight tour for next year.
Respectfully submitted,
Jane Palmer, Secretary
