PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
This letter is early because of our meeting schedule for the next 2 months.
Our next meeting is on Sunday November 3rd. LESS THAN 2 WEEKS.
We will meet at the Wright’s Chicken Farm Restaurant , 84 Inman Rd., Harrisville, RI., rear entrance. If you wish to view all the other auto club’s antiques , I suggest you arrive by 10:30. We plan on meeting at the rear entrance at 11:15 to sit together as a club. Reservations are at 11:30. Vince Ruops will be handling reservations. Please call him by OCTOBER 29; 860-872-0777
The December meeting is at the Palmer’s in Tolland, CT on the 8th of December at 11:30.
This is our annual Christmas party and pot luck dinner. Jane Palmer will need to know if you are attending, what you will bring for food, and if you plan on joining the Yankee swap. 860-875-0022
The gathering in October at the Waters Farm festival and Car Show went much better this year, thanks to no heavy rain. They estimated around 200 cars entered the show. Several of our members drove their classics, including our newest Colonial members , Richard and Mary Michniewicz of Sterling, Mass. I’m sorry Don and I didn’t get to meet them.
I am still looking for a nomination chairperson for our election of officers. Elections are in December. There was no official meeting in October, so no minutes, but I’m sure Don Palmer has a few pictures he will post on the club web site*. You might even spot your car. The next newsletter will be sent in mid November.
