This message is coming to you earlier than usual. Our meetings are off schedule and very hard to plan. 2 years ago, all our meetings had nice weather. Previously there were plenty of rain outs including a hurricane at our National meet in Sturbridge in the 90s. The meet went on as planned but the storm dumped 8” of rain in 2 days and the cars had water inside the footwells. I’m thinking this year is payback for the good weather in 2019.
So we cancelled the July picnic at Forest Park because of the rain . We have cancelled many because of Covid. Now we are experiencing an increase in a new dangerous form of Covid in addition to extreme weather. What are we to do ?

Well to start, we have rescheduled the picnic at Forest Park . Outdoors still seems the safest plan right now. Time will tell.

We have a new member , Larry Krasnow from Norfolk, Mass. Larry needs a car and wants a Plymouth Coupe in the 40s. The first day I put out the notice, our member Dave Calabrese responded that he had the perfect car for sale. They were going to talk, and we’ll see if there is a match. To be continued.

EXIT 1 off I-91 (Rte 5 south, Forest Park,Longmeadow) in Springfield , Mass.

There are several museums 1 mile away for those interested. Judy
