Happy 4th of July Colonial Region!
I have only had one response to the picture question from last month. Where and when was the picture taken and does anyone recognize the 2 members to the right of Natalie Crook ? It was definitely taken when Betty Kibbee was president.
Don Palmer continues to add tech articles, new pictures, car shows and cruises, events, for sale or want ads, and club notices to the Colonial website. He has also updated our mission statement. Any member can request to post ads (related to cars) and Don will post them . The length of ads is 3 months unless requested for renewal. Check the site regularly or suggest a tech article .
Unfortunately , the meet for June was cancelled due to poor response. I would urge members to not wait until the last minute to RSVP. The host must plan ahead and gives a deadline for that purpose. If you aren’t sure, let the host know. Are there any suggestions from members for better attendance?  We try to have events that most people enjoy according to weather, time of year, etc. I think museums are just starting to reopen. We don’t have formal meetings every month if that is your reason for not coming. Because of our member locations we can’t meet weekdays or evenings.
Jane Palmer has returned from a trip to Iceland to visit her daughter Christine. She has some interesting reflections and stories to relay at our next meet. That will take place on Sunday July 18 at noon in Forrest Park in Springfield, Mass, just off I-91. (Directions to follow). This is a large park with 2 ponds and many areas. The route to our area of the park is confusing, so I suggest you be there by 12 to follow the group , since there are 3 picnic areas.
