The April 2022 Region Meet at Mount Tom near Holyoke, Mass. fell on a crisp Spring day, cloudy, low 50 temps, and very light shifting breeze. No snow in sight!!! Members sat in Covid correct protocol locations setting apart outside. Some huddled a bit but some were not while eating their lunch:
After eating & having a Region Meeting it was time to walk off some calories so up the tower access road we went to view the scenery. Some scaled the tower to catch the the remaining members on the ground appearing as ants below:
The tower had narrow stair treads so walking was on either on the heal coming down or on the toes going up:
There was a fantastic view of the river valley and buildings dotting the landscape with the backdrop of hills:
Of course there is always a sighting as we tour to and from the location for the meeting; in this case its was a rarely seen 1978 Plymouth B200 Full size Van in excellent condition….ready to pull all the gear of your choosing:
The condition was so good inside and out that it seemed impossible that this Michigan Van had relocated to Ct. permanently to face even more road salt than Michigan has to offer???
See Secretary Minutes & President’s Message for items covered in the meeting.
