BOY!  Is the year passing fast!   At least there has been a good deal of nice weather to enjoy our hobby. I’m trying to persuade Don to get a more updated engine and transmission for the 1954.  I hate the standard shift and no power steering.  Life gets in the way and we might need a new roof instead.

Our October event is a tour.  I hope you saved the date of October 20.  I have attached the details from  Jane Palmer. It’s in the Ludlow- Granby area.  Usually this is the last of our antique car tours before the storage time, but with warmer weather, we can extend that chore.  No freeze here yet, so no salt.

We are hoping for good weather on the 20th.

There is no meeting in November and the Palmer’s have agreed to host the annual Christmas/Holiday party again.  Because Thanksgiving is so late this year,  the party will be December 8th in Tolland, CT.  The first Sunday is Thanksgiving weekend.

John Russo and I are working on the web site cost and transfer of payment procedure.  He is  getting our 3 yr. contract cut in half.  I hope to have it completed by December 8th and will report it to you then.   It isn’t cheap but a really important tool, and I hope we can keep it going as long as Don Palmer can manage it.

Chrysler is 100 yrs. old next year.  As part of the celebration, the WPC club is sponsoring an Official event on July 11-13, 2025 as part of  the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals.  They are inviting all clubs and individual owners of Chrysler related vehicles to attend.  The registration is now open.   I have attached a copy of the invite.

I have not received any special news from our members.

Judy
