The Sept 2022 Region Event had a grouping up on the hill with shade for chair warming members. Plymouths grouped together were:
Viewed from the southwest:
Viewed from the Northeast:
Some Region Members in a Grouping shot:
The 75 Scamp at the head of the line:
Next in line was the 54 Belvedere:
And next to that was the 57 Fury:
Which was followed by the 67 Fury:
Although that Fury was big on the outside I think you’ll agree the 52 Concord Suburban might have been able to carry a lot more cargo:
Finally the best hooked up for hauling lumber, cord wood, wood chips, or oak beams was nuzzled in next …..the Chrysler Plymouth Service Vehicle aka. 35 Dodge Commercial Car Express Model:
Some of the fun included Jane P. & Don W. taking the 25 Dodge Firetruck out for a spin:
Picture may be blurred due to the breakneck speeds needed to rush to the fire?
A few more years and it will hit 100 and still ticking
They might have spotted other Plymouths scattered about among the about 130 vintage cars on the large field:
48 Plymouth significantly Hot Rodded:
or the 68 Cuda:
or the 68 Roadrunner:
Judy will cover attendees in her President Message as well as informal discussions on upcoming meets so watch for it!!
I’m new to the Colonial Region fellowship – what a warm and welcoming group. Even got some tips on diagnosing a strange 35MPH vibration. I’ll definitely travel over from Albany NY for the next event.

The next Region Meet is in Sutton, Mass. on Oct 16. The Meet after that is the annual Christmas Party.
Details of the Oct Meet can be viewed at this (Region Website Upcoming Meet Category) link:
http://www.plymouthcarclub.com/event/oct-2022-region-meet/
Note that it’s recommended to get there early to enable parking on the field (number of spots is highly dependent on how much rain they have experienced in the weeks prior to the event).
Glad we could meet at the Hancock Meet; note that our discussion on 35 mph vibration focused on drivetrain and did not address engine state of tune. I noticed you engine had popping in the exhaust when you left which indicates you have “Cross firing” occurring. There is a write up in the Region Website on how to easily eliminate the popping in the exhaust which is so typical of flathead 6’s (Chrysler design issue).
