Greetings to all. Who would have thought the weather would be this warm in November. This is a first and really nice to be without salt on the roads yet. Maybe it will last until after the Christmas party. And—-speaking of the party, The Palmers are happy to host the annual gathering at their home in Tolland ,CT. on Sunday December 4th. It’s always a good time with great food. I am attaching the details and it is also on our web site. Remember, you aren’t expected to drive your old car in December, your choice.
In case you didn’t know, Don Palmer wrote a very nice summary and pictures from the Waters Farm car show. Check out the web site.
FYI. DUES are coming up. Dues are $15 per family and are due January 2023. This will be the first collection since 2020. We really need it to pay for the web use which is expensive. Many folks choose to pay their dues at the Christmas party. It is easier than mailing. The treasurer collects the dues. (Bob Cook)
It would be nice if you have some suggestions of attractions or events in your area for the meetings next year. We would really like to do some different things that interest members. We also want to vote whether on not to have a meeting in February, since we already skip January.
Don Whitman has 4 transmissions he wants to unload, all free. 3 are push button torque-flite and 1 is later ‘70s. Call him if you are interested. 413-738-5322. He is planning to attend the Christmas party and can give details, and would bring it to the party if necessary. (or them)
Yours truly will not be able to attend the party since I am having back surgery on November 15th, but may be able to join by video. This is a great time to meet your fellow club members
