The Region Aug 2024 Event planning is as follows:

Our next Colonial Region Meeting will be on Sunday, Aug 18.  We will meet at Sofia’s Restaurant (136 Prospect Hill Rd, East Windsor, CT) at 11:00.  We will order off the menu with separate checks.

After lunch, we will drive (approximately 12 minutes) to the Vintage Radio and Communication Museum of Connecticut (115 Pierson Lane, Windsor, CT).  The exhibits include “history from Morse Code transmitters to radio and television to personal computers and everything in between”.  The cost is $10 for adults and $7.00 for seniors (60+)

For those interested, we will end the day with ice cream at Collins Creamery (8 minutes off RT 91).  Please let Jane know if you are coming so we can give a head count to Sofia’s (184palmer@comcast.net or 860-875-0022 or 860-840-4311, cell)
